The DAY HABILITATION PROGRAM (Adult Day Services) at the South Norfolk County Arc has been accredited by CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, achieving the highest grade possible. CARF is a private, not-for-profit organization, founded in 1966, that "promotes quality rehabilitation services... by establishing standards of quality for organizations to use as guidelines in developing and offering their programs or services to consumers." CARF issues accreditation for specific eligible programs within an organization.
