South Norfolk County Arc (SNCARC) offers up to five scholarships each year to college students (who will be juniors, seniors or graduate students) who are studying Special Education or a closely related field and who will be juniors, seniors or graduate students in the upcoming academic year. In May 2011, the following scholarships were awarded:

Meghan Rogers - Carole Keegan Scholarship
Kayla Zappi - Ruth Doorly Scholarship
Michelle Cameron – Dorothy Cadogan Scholarship
Jacquelyn Mailey - Mary Walsh Scholarship
Chantal DiBartolomeo - Natalie Thomas Woodward Schmatzler
                    Walsh Scholarship

SNCARC has been awarding scholarships for more than 25 years, and we always like to hear what past scholarship winners are doing. The named scholarships are presented in honor of, or in memory of local parents, advocates, teachers and founding members of SNCARC.

The 2012-13 scholarship application is available here.

If you would like more information about the scholarships please contact NLEWIS@SNCARC.ORG or call the phone number below.
