The South Norfolk County Arc (SNCARC) offers up to five scholarships each year to college students (who will be juniors, seniors or graduate students) who are studying Special Education or a closely related field and who will be juniors, seniors or graduate students in the upcoming academic year. The deadline for applications is April 18.

Scholarships are awarded in memory of Mrs. Mary Walsh, Mrs. Dorothy Cadogan, Mrs. Carol Keegan, and Mrs. Ruth Doorly and in honor of Mrs. Ruth Very. Scholarships are presented at the SNCARC Annual Meeting in May each year. In 2008, the Annual Meeting takes place on May 21.
